The Mayakoba Junior Golf Classic is staged each summer at El Camaleón Golf Club by the Mayakoba Golf Classic in conjunction with the American Junior Golf Association. The Mayakoba Junior Golf Classic is México's Only AJGA Event and is designed to grow the game of golf in México while offering junior golfers a PGA TOUR experience.

The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf.
